The Air Jordan 1 Retro High Co. JP 'Midnight Navy' Suitcase Special Box, released exclusively in Japan in October 2020, based on a previous exclusive from 2001. Appearing almost identical to its predecessor, the shoe's upper is built with a white leather base, overlaid by Midnight Navy suede and highlighted by a metallic silver Swoosh and 'Wings' logo and includes a silver Jumpman hang tag.
'Nike Air' replaces the usual Jumpman branding on the tongue, while the dates of the two releases appear inside the tongue tag.
The special suitcase elevates the overall presentation of this pair of sneakers. Not many shoes on the market come with such a box, whenever I hold the case I feel like maybe it should be handcuffed to my wrist!
