Nike x Clot (Kiss of Death) with lace swap & matching socks.
CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 ‘Kiss of Death’ is a rerelease of a classic colorway that first debuted in 2006. Edison Chen the founder of CLOT wanted to bring this shoe back because its initial release was very limited and he felt a rerelease was the best way to commemorate its 15-year hiatus. This shoe features a tan suede upper with a transparent toe-box revealing the intricately designed insole.

At the heel of the shoe, you can find a bright red panel embroidered with the CLOT logo and is accented by an ostrich texture collar. Edison adds the finishing touches to the ‘Kiss of Death’ with a faux snakeskin Swoosh and a translucent outersole exposing an image of multicolored pressure points as a nod to Chinese medicinal practices.
Many collectors are not fans of these of shoes because of the transparent toe box, so I thought I would share a few sock ideas.
